NO WHEELED VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE RECREATION GROUND. Wheelbarrows are available to help you move your goods to your stall, but please return them to the collection point (car park) when you have finished with them.

Once you have unloaded your goods from your car and before setting up your stall, it is essential that you move it to Cherryfields Car park, Fullers Road (opposite the School Road turning) to enable other stallholders to use the car park or roads nearby.

Stalls can be set up any time after 9.00 a.m. and it is the responsibility of individual stallholders to look after their own stalls.

PLEASE – NO TABLE RUSTLING. We have a very high demand for tables and do our utmost to share the tables fairly. Please do not move tables without consulting a member of the committee.

Committee members are easily identified by their RVF red T-shirts.

The Fayre starts officially at 12 noon.

All stallholders should provide their own money floats and change: the Village Fayre Treasurer cannot do this for you.

The Committee wish to point out that it is illegal to sell alcohol or give prizes containing alcohol any person under the age of 18.

Once the Fayre is over please return your RVF table to the car park and clear into the black sacks provided any litter from around your stall and remove to the skip in the car park.

Stallholders are expected to make donations in order to contribute to the running of the Fayre. Any surplus will be donated to the chosen Charity. Envelopes for this purpose will be handed out on the day by Karen Spittle, our Treasurer, who will be located at the Information Point. The cost of putting on the Fayre is rising each year so we ask you please to give as generously as you can.

If the weather is really bad or heavy rain has fallen for several days before the event, the RVF committee will meet with the Recreation Ground committee at 7.00 a.m. on the morning of the Fayre to determine whether the Ground will be suitable for the Fayre to continue. If in doubt please view this website for an update.

INSURANCE – IMPORTANT – PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Rowledge Village Fayre Committee has Public Liability Insurance covering Rowledge Village Fayre Committee members and their helpers, but please note this policy does NOT include any stallholders or their helpers! We also require you to include a copy of your insurance on application to be a stallholder this year. If you are unable to do this please let us know.

Commercial stalls will be charged a flat fee of £40 each.

Finally, the RVF Committee wish everyone a happy and successful day and hope your efforts are suitably rewarded!
