Rowledge Village Fayre

Bank Holiday Monday 28th May 2018 12 noon

Some of the great feedback received for recent fayres

I ran the South Farnham School coconut shy at the fayre over the weekend and I just wanted to say thank you. The atmosphere was wonderful, I think everyone that came had a great time and we raised £200 for the school. What a well run event.
Hopefully see you all next year.

I was chatting to Nora Tarrant today and telling her how fabulous the organisation of the Fayre was…and she asked me to send my comments to you.

I said I didn’t think I could bear to do any other fayres as yours was organised SO well! The gentlemen in the car parks did a fabulous job, and when I went to collect my elderly mother they saved my stallholders place with a cone! They remembered me each time I came and went, and were cheerful all the time!

Then we were greeted with wheelbarrows for setting up, and a large table all in place! Ellie sold chocolate dipped strawberries, along with plants she had grown, and home-made cookies. She did a brisk trade all afternoon, making a profit for her expedition of £60, and donated £10 to the fayre.

So please pass on out thanks to all concerned. We had a lovely afternoon and will definitely be back next year…(though we will need a new idea I think as another stallholder near us already told me she was going to pinch our idea for the Frensham fayre!!!)

Yours gratefully
Nora and Ellie Harding
